Mandatory Diagnostics
- A recent lumbar MRI scan less than six months old is required for your clinical assessment.
- A lumbar CT scan is also often required.
- Pre-operative blood tests are required once you have confirmed your procedure.
- A cardiac assessment is required for patients over 60.
Follow Up
Each patient is closely monitored after surgery with:
- A post-operative meeting with their surgeon one week after surgery.
- An online consultation with their surgeon after two months.
- A consultation with their surgeon one year after the procedure, which can be either online or in person at CCV Montpellier depending on the patient’s wishes. SpinePro arranges scans required for the consultation locally or at Montpellier before the one year consultation.
- With patient consent, SpinePro works collaboratively with the referring MSK clinician to support continuity of care and an informed rehabilitation, returning them to the level of mobility they enjoyed before the onset of severe symptoms.
- In addition, patients have access to our in-house medical officer for one year after their return home.
