A Reassuring Welcome
SpinePro manages every aspect of your hospital stay at Clinique du Parc, the home of CCV Montpellier.
A patient manager meets you at the Clinique du Parc for your check-in, accompanies you to your room and remains on-site for the duration of your stay to manage every eventuality.
English speaking CCV medical secretaries work in conjunction with SpinePro’s patient manager to ensure a comfortable, agreeable stay.
Rooms with two beds to accommodate partners or carers are available on request.
Consultation
From your E-Consultation through to the day of your surgery and beyond, the contact you have with your surgeon will establish and reinforce the relationship of trust that is essential for any surgery.
The discussions you have will help to explain the origin of your pain, determine your care programme, and support your full recovery.
Your Room
Your stay at CCV Montpellier will be in an executive room in the private wing, all recently renovated and equipped with WiFi, TV and air conditioning.
Surgery
A successful surgery is assured by rigorous technical organisation, as well as personal support to prepare you for the operation and after you wake up.
Post-Operative Follow-Up
Thanks to the minimally invasive surgical technique and the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) procedure implemented by CCV Montpellier, patients assisted by a physiotherapist take a short walk on the afternoon of the operation.
Your surgeon visits you on the day of the operation to ensure you are comfortable and recovering as expected.
The rehabilitation programme is explained by the physiotherapist and put into practice the day after the operation.
Most patients take several brief walks the day after the operation as bed rest is not mandatory and they feel sufficiently confident to do so.
Discharge
SpinePro patients are discharged two or three days after their Prodisc® L total lumbar disc replacement procedure depending on personal preference.
Complication rates for the procedure are minimal so ordinarily there is no medical requirement to stay at Clinique du Parc for more than two nights. However, patients may choose to stay for a third night or more if they wish.
Your surgeon prescribes medication and daily nursing visits for your recuperation at one of our partner hotels, located nearby to CCV.
The same medication for home nursing visits is prescribed in advance by SpinePro’s medical officer to ensure continuity of care on your arrival home.
