Mandatory Diagnostics

  • A recent Lumbar MRI scan less than six months old is required for your E-Diagnosis.
  • A lumbar CT scan is also often required.
  • Pre-operative blood tests are required once you have confirmed your procedure.
  • A cardiac assessment is required for patients over 60.

SpinePro can arrange all diagnostic scans locally to international patients if required.

Follow Up

Each patient is closely monitored after surgery with:

  • A post operative meeting with their surgeon one week after surgery.
  • An on-line consultation with their surgeon after two months.
    SpinePro arranges scans required for the consultation locally.
  • A consultation with their surgeon one year after the procedure which can be online or in person at CCV Montpellier depending on the patient’s wishes.
    SpinePro arranges scans required for the consultation locally or at Montpellier before the one year consultation.
  • In addition, patients have access to our in-house medical officer for one year after their return home.
    Our medical officer is a senior physician with an extensive career as a Private / NHS General Practitioner and Accident & Emergency Lead Doctor with a specialism in sports medicine and trauma.
